Students apply annually by submitting a letter of interest and resume.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Historic Student Advisory Council projects include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Developed a list of new tools and resources that HPSA could develop to help students<\/li>\n<li>Worked with the HPSA development team to create a new application, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studentdoctor.net\/activity-finder\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Activity Finder<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Reviewed and provided input for winning submission for <a href=\"https:\/\/opportunity.census.gov\/prize-challenge\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Open Data for Good Grand Challenge<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Provided feedback on new <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hpsa.org\/programs\/courses\/\">courses for premed and pre-health students<\/a><\/li>\n<li>Supported HPSA at virtual conferences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.hpsa.org\/get-involved\/student-advisory-council\/student-advisory-council-mission-and-sop\/\">Read about the Student Advisory Council Mission and Standard Operating Procedures.<\/a><\/p>\n<h3><strong>Applying to the Student Advisory Council<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>Current undergraduate and graduate students can join the SAC for a one-year term and reapply until they have completed their education. To apply, students can send their resume and a cover letter explaining why they want to join to\u00a0<a href=\"mailto:student_consultant@studentdoctor.net\">student_consultant@studentdoctor.net<\/a>.
