The Health Professional Student Association (HPSA), which publishes the\u00a0Student Doctor Network<\/a>, is launching a\u00a0Student Advisory Council<\/a>. The Student Advisory Council (SAC) will provide a student voice to the HPSA board and management and ensure that HPSA activities and programs offer the best possible support to all students.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur focus is students, so we want to have a formal structure for undergraduate and graduate students to provide input on the projects we complete,\u201d said Laura Turner, HPSA Executive Director. \u201cThis will provide students with a volunteer opportunity as well as help us determine how to best support students.\u201d<\/p>\n

Applying to the Student Advisory Council<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Current undergraduate and graduate students can join the SAC for a one-year term and reapply until they have completed their education. To apply, students can send their resume and a cover letter explaining why they want to join to\u00a0student_consultant@studentdoctor.net<\/a>. Applications will be accepted from February 1 through March 31, 2021.<\/p>\n
