The journal will publish weekly on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studentdoctor.net\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Student Doctor Network website<\/a>, with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hpsa.org\/our-people\/test-post\/?smid=966\">Emil Chuck, PhD, Director of Advising Services<\/a> at HPSA, serving as Editor-in-Chief.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The editorial board includes professionals from advising services and healthcare who are interested in the health professional school admissions process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>&#8220;Our goal is to highlight this research in an area that often gets overlooked.&#8221;<\/p><cite>Emil Chuck, PhD, SDN Review Editor-in-Chief<\/cite><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cThe Student Doctor Network, published by HPSA, has been featuring articles regarding professional school admissions since 2007,\u201d said Dr. Chuck. \u201cHPSA also conducts multiple novel research surveys regarding the admissions experience and emerging trends, such as the growth of Generative AI. Our goal is to highlight this research in an area that often gets overlooked.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cHPSA grew out of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.coastalresearch.org\">Coastal Research Group<\/a>, a California-based nonprofit that supported research on primary health care access from 1983 to 2020,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hpsa.org\/our-people\/test-post\/?smid=782\">Laura Turner, Executive Director<\/a>, HPSA. \u201c<em>SDN Review <\/em>is a natural extension of our history in academic research.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The journal will feature rigorous research alongside practical perspectives from advisors and students navigating the admissions process.
