This month-long giving campaign kicks off June 1 and marks a powerful step forward in breaking down the financial barriers that often stand between talented students and their dreams of a career in healthcare.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In celebration of SDN\u2019s 25th anniversary in 2024, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.studentdoctor.net\/2025\/05\/22\/hpsa-awards-inaugural-sdn-prehealth-scholarships-to-three-aspiring-healthcare-leaders\/\">organization recently awarded its first-ever $2,500 scholarships<\/a> to three exceptional prehealth students\u2014<strong>Nancy Mahmoud, Gabriela Martinez, and Shivam Patel<\/strong>\u2014who are deeply committed to serving communities most in need. This June, SDN is calling on its members, supporters, and the broader healthcare community to help expand this life-changing opportunity to more deserving students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cBy supporting future doctors, dentists, pharmacists, psychologists, veterinarians, and other healthcare leaders from underserved backgrounds, we are not just investing in individuals\u2014we are investing in the health and well-being of entire communities,\u201d said <a href=\"https:\/\/www.hpsa.org\/our-people\/test-post\/?smid=782\">Laura Turner, Executive Director of HPSA<\/a>, publisher of SDN.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each $2,500 scholarship helps alleviate the financial burden of the application process to doctoral-level healthcare programs, empowering students to pursue their passion without being held back by cost.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Get Involved:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/givebutter.com\/SDNScholarship\/\">Donate<\/a>:<\/strong> Every dollar raised goes directly toward scholarships.
